Day 2 of #LocalLouisvilleShoutOut – Barrel Heads KY (Decorative products from reclaimed KY Bourbon Barrels)
Does anything say Kentucky more than Bourbon or horse racing? And, as we get closer to the Kentucky Derby, what a great time to give a #LocalShoutOut to Barrel Heads KY.
John Haury (also my cousin) is one of the partners of Barrel Heads KY (A Kentucky Proud company), located in Lexington, Kentucky (Ok…so maybe not Louisville, but just down the road).
Barrel Heads KY rehabs old bourbon barrels that were used in the production of KY Bourbon Whiskey and transform them into furniture, decorative accessories, and collectibles for bourbon fans. From custom wedding barrel heads, to open barrels with glass shelves and lit interiors… we are bourbon barrel crazy!
Fun Fact: Did you know that there is more bourbon barrels in Kentucky than there are people? Crazy, but true. Kentucky is famous for excellent Bourbon Whiskey, horse racing, and the Kentucky Wildcats.
