Know your customer and how they engage with your brand

You have customers, lots of customers, but do you know how they are engaging with your brand, what content they engage with or even in what channel or device?

Without looking at any of your analytics, it would be pretty safe to say that the majority of your customers are engaging with you via their mobile devices. We are in a mobile world and if you don’t have have mobile as part of your strategy, you are way behind.

Is your website mobile optimized – the experience, the content and for SEO? Are your communications and messages optimized for the mobile experience?

Are you using analytics to see where your customers are going and where they are falling out or bouncing?

How are you talking with your customers? Are you reaching out and talking with your customers? Are you getting pre and post purchase insights? Customer insights are invaluable to understand and to then optimize the experiences around those insights.

What is your customer saying socially and are your engaging or talking back?

The items above are some low hanging items that will give you a better understanding of your customer and help drive the content and direction of your brand – plus to improved the experience.
