Part of being a good leader is also not letting the stress and panic of extreme situations impact your teams.
You want the teams to be able to focus and fix the problems or issues with calm heads, if you are running around the office like a crazed maniac, that isn’t going to help, it will only hurt the focus, the planning and the solutions.
I have hid the stress many times and my teams have been able to fix any issue with strong solutions that are well thought out because they weren’t but in a more stressful situation because of my actions.
I have had bosses that would go crazy and it made life hard for everyone involved to concentrate and focus and the solution.
Look at your style to see how you are reacting to stress and panic and how it is impacting your team. Make adjustments as needed for the well being of everyone.
