What do Zappos, Airbnb, Lyft and Amazon, among others, have in common? They have all been able to use unique branding and repositioning to become disruptors in their respective categories. These companies have followed the shifts in society and customer behaviors to use technology as a resource to break out of traditional convention and the conventional way of thinking.
