NFL TV Ratings Down. After five weeks of football the viewership is down while overall total TV viewing is up. Viewership for lower income households is down 28% while higher income homes are down 14.1%. What the NFL needs to figure out is if the political stances it’s players are taking during the national anthem are hurting. By contract, college football viewing is up .5%.

Tesla and Self-Driving Technology. All of the new Tesla vehicles will be equipped with self-driving hardware. This is the hardware needed for full self-driving capability. The biggest question this poses is when will the technology be available? Only time will tell.

Millennials Like Email. A new study by Mapp Digital suggests that Millennials are more accepting of email over other marketing channels. Millennials also preferred social media and text messages behind email. Overall, 72% of consumers check their email by mobile device, according to Mapp Digital’s study. More than 90% of consumers ages 18-24 and 83% of consumers ages 25-32 check their email by smartphone.
