Snapchat is poised for massive ad revenue growth in 2017. In the US, the Discover feature currently generates 43% of the companies ad revenue, but that should shift next year as Stories will overtake Discover as the dominate add revenue source. Targeting capabilities will be key as Snapchat is competing with Facebook and Twitter in this area – Snapchat needs to consistently prove it can deliver.

IoT Moves Beyond Screens and will fundamentally shift how brands are reaching consumers. As more IoT devices become available, this will open up new forms of communication in which Marketers can then communicate to customers differently than today. Voice interaction is going to be key as consumers will be able to control their devices and services via speaking. Wearables are a good example of how data gained has helped with better targeting and advertising.

Congrats to Inc.com for a record month of site traffic in July. Inc.com reached 18 million total unique visitors and 31 million total page views which represents a 12% growth in unique visitors since February 2016. The biggest driver of traffic was Yahoo followed by Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and StumbleUpon. Video will also be a main driver as Inc.com is add different video series.
