Individuals can be just as successful as being a disruptor as a brand is. Take LaVar Ball for example – Love him or hate him, he has been a disruptor for the past 9 months to a year by making outlandish statements and doing outlandish things. He has been able to bring major attention (TV, radio, ESPN, every sports site or publication) from both the media and the public to his brand. His brand which consist of his kids, himself and their Big Baller Brand.
Major brands would be paying millions of dollars for the attention that he has been able to generate just by doing things differently each step of the way.
